Oxfam research shows that big land deals are forcing hard-working people from their homes, jobs and food - leaving them destitute and hungry.
Big land deals are tearing whole communities apart, leaving people hungry and homeless. It's big business at a big cost. But the World Bank has the power to be a force for good. With your assistance, it can help protect the rights of the world's poorest people.
The World Bank - the international financial institution that provides loans to developing countries - funds many big land deals. It also influences how land is bought and sold. So this means it has the power to help get the situation back under control. We need your help to call on the Bank to play an important role in stopping land injustice.
World Bank President, Jim Kim, must freeze the bank's investment in land and set a fair standard for others to follow.
Sign our new petition. Tell the World Bank to put a freeze on big land deals - until we create a fairer way.'

End of Summer, Hello Winter
Hello Winter...This can either be looked at with sadness, all those floaty and skimpy outfits will have to be buried in a drawer somewhere, or happiness, Say hello to all your trusty woolies! That scarf it has been too hot to wear all summer or your favourite coat that has been forgotten for months!
Well here at Oxfam, we are welcoming winter with our arms open, The summer sale finished this weekend, this had made room for jackets and coats. However our other products shouldn't be forgotten, Jewellery and accesories from 99p, all scarfs are £1.99, Various colours, fabrics and styles!
We also welcome any donations, whatever season! And remember all donations can be gift aided, this means we can gain an extra 25% on everything we sell, ask a team member for more details.

Another Week, And a weekend off!
It is Friday!
And Usually I would be working tomorrow, But it is my weekend off!
However the shop is still open from 9am to 5pm
Plus we have a christmas card and wrap sale, from 99p to £1.99
Bargain!
I know it might be too early, but the sale wont last long so grap some early.
And as it is Friday, Thank you to all the customers and of course the Volunteers! Couldn't run the shop with out you all!

New Products
We have a fantastic range of new products, From Crimbo Cards and Advent Callendars, to Childrens toys and candles with tea light holders. Here is one of my favourite new items, beautiful! And such a Bargain! Pop in and have a look and pick up a product leaflet.
